01What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website, sign up for an account, contact our sales team or use the price intelligence platform. It covers account holders, their users and visitors to the website.

02Information we collect

  • Account details you give us: name, work email, company, role, store website, category and store platform.
  • Catalogue and commercial data you upload or sync: product titles, SKUs, barcodes, costs, prices, stock levels and sales figures.
  • Pricing configuration: margin floors, ceilings, rules, approvals and the history of price changes.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and IP address, used to run and secure the service.
  • Messages you send us through the Pricing Desk or by email.

03Competitor price data

Price Watch collects only publicly available information from competitor websites and public marketplace listings: product titles, prices, stock labels, seller counts and visible offers.

We do not log in to competitor sites, bypass access controls or collect personal information about shoppers or sellers. We respect each website's published access rules.

04How we use information

  • To create your account and send your login details.
  • To match your products to competitor listings and run price checks.
  • To generate price and offer suggestions, promo forecasts and reports for your account only.
  • To reply to sales and support requests.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

05Shoppers' personal data

The platform sets prices per product and per channel. We do not use any shopper's personal data to set different prices for different people, and the service is not built to do so.

06Sharing

Your catalogue, costs, prices, rules and reports are never sold and never shared with other retailers, including your competitors who may also use the service.

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery and payment processing, under contracts that limit their use of it. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

07Security

Account data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside our team is limited to people who need it to run or support your account, and access is logged.

08Retention

We keep account and price-history data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your catalogue and commercial data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

09Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account details at any time. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by writing to us through the Pricing Desk page. We reply within 30 days.

10Cookies

This website uses a session cookie to protect forms against automated submissions. The platform uses cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

11Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will tell account holders by email before the changes take effect.
